Film Scan Pro requires access to your device’s camera to scan film negatives and storage to save digitized images to your phone’s gallery. This data is used solely for app functionality (scanning and saving) and is processed locally. No other personal data is collected unless you choose to use the optional contact feature or interact with advertisements.
The app includes a contact section where users can voluntarily submit an email address and message for support or feedback. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored long-term or shared with third parties. Emails are managed via comquestcorp@gmail.com and deleted after resolution unless required for legal purposes.
Film Scan Pro uses AdMob (provided by Google) for advertising. AdMob may collect data such as device ID, IP address, and app usage patterns to deliver personalized ads. On iOS, you will be prompted to allow tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency; on Android, similar data collection occurs unless opted out via device settings. Subscribing to remove ads via in-app purchase stops this data collection for advertising purposes.
The app uses AdMob (Google) for advertisements. See Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) for details on data handling. No other third-party services are used for core functionality.
Commercially acceptable methods protect your data, but no online transmission is 100% secure.
