Robert Gaffaney, operating under Comquest Corporation, developed the What? Ask AI app as a commercial application. This app is provided by Robert Gaffaney / Comquest Corporation and is intended for use as is.
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of data when you use What? Ask AI on iOS or Android.
What? Ask AI is designed to collect the absolute minimum data possible. We do not require accounts, logins, or any personal identifiers.
Chat queries and responses
When you type a question, it is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence service to generate a response. These queries and responses are processed in real time and are not stored or logged by us. The third-party AI provider may temporarily process or retain data according to their own privacy policy (a link is provided in the app when applicable).
Local storage
Conversation history (if enabled) is stored only on your device and never leaves it unless you explicitly share or export it.
Contact / feedback feature (optional)
If you choose to send feedback or contact support, you may voluntarily provide an email address and message. This is sent directly to support@cqcorp.com and is used solely to reply to you. It is deleted after resolution unless required for legal reasons.
What? Ask AI uses your device camera to allow you to capture images for analysis. The camera is accessed only when you actively use the in-app camera feature.
Captured images are processed as follows:
Camera access is required strictly for providing image-based question functionality and is never used in the background.
Advertising
The free version displays advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect non-personal advertising identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve ads. On iOS you will be prompted by App Tracking Transparency; on Android you can limit ad tracking in device settings. Purchasing the ad-removal in-app subscription stops all ad-related data collection.
No other third parties receive data from the app.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect any voluntarily submitted data (e.g., support emails), but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
The app is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has used the app and sent personal information, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at support@cqcorp.com
Thank you for using What? Ask AI!
